Vaccination of port workers

The Batumi Sea Port Ltd supported the initiative of the state authorities of Georgia and Kazakhstan to start vaccinating personnel against the Covid-19 coronavirus. The Port Administration informed that this decision allows returning quickly to normal operation.
"Our company is ready to step up vaccination, dispel the doubts of those who have not yet decided to get vaccinated. We demonstrate it by our own example. Vaccinating billions of people will help stop the transmission of the dangerous virus and achieve group immunity. Only through the joint efforts will we be able to return to normal life ", said the Managing Director for Production, Mr. Yerkebulan Meyrembekov, who was one of the first being vaccinated with the Chinese vaccine.
"Registration for vaccination takes place voluntarily on a special state website. Further, according to the planned schedule and the approved list, the employees of the Port of Batumi are vaccinated in the Maritime Hospital of Batumi under the supervision of professional doctors of the city of Batumi" Mr. Y. Meyrembekov added.
It is worth to note that since the beginning of the global pandemic, the Batumi Sea Port Ltd has been actively involved in the fight against Covid-19.
