Logitrans 2012 Exhibition in Istanbul

From 15 to 17 November 2012, Istanbul Exhibition Centre hosted the 6th Logitrans Transport Logistics Exhibition where Batumi Sea Port for the second time took an active part.

This exhibition is one of the leading events in the transport and logistics industry and annually attracts a large number of exhibitors from around the world. This time, the number of exhibitors totalled 200 companies from 15 countries worldwide. It was the first time the trade fair was welcoming exhibitors from India, Jordan, New Zealand, Sweden and Slovenia.The bulk of the exhibitors were logistics and freight forwarding companies, seaports and port authorities.

The Black Sea region was represented by the major Turkish ports and the seaport of Batumi. BSP stand has been noted for its high activity and interest among visitors as well as exhibitors. BSP exposition attracted particular attention of Turkish, Iranian, Armenian and Azerbaijani freight forwarders who were interested in the transit of general and other types of cargo through the territory of Georgia.

This exhibition is notable for its large flow of visitors and provides a unique opportunity to communicate with many other ports, to exchange information and experience, as well as establish business contacts. Thus, BSP marketing team members have managed to establish close contact with the colleagues from Latvian, German, Turkish ports as well as "Medrcuise” representatives. To remind, in 2013 Batumi sea port together with the Department of Tourism of Adjara will be hosting a General Assembly of « Medcruise».
