Dry cargo terminal of Batumi Sea Port received one of the largest vessels in its history

Dry bulk carrier "SOYA MAY” with the length of 229 metres, beam-36,8 metres, DWT- 87146 tons and 26000 tons of SOYA on board has been moored at the dry cargo berth of Batumi Sea Port. This is one of the largest vessels to have entered Batumi Sea Port. Soybean will be discharged at berth #7 and will further be transported to Azerbaijan by railway. According to the BSP management, this fact once again underlines the significance of Batumi Sea Port as the deepest Georgian port for providing transportation of various cargo types through TRACECA international corridor”.
