Batumi to become a home port for a visa- free unique cruise on the Black Sea

Paradise Cruise and Ferry opens a new cruise line Batumi - Sochi - Istanbul-Batumi. A unique visa-free cruise will allow passengers to make a voyage to the Black Sea avoiding unnecessary trouble with the documents. The first voyage is scheduled for December 24, 2014. The cruise line will be operated by the liner "Isabella 1". Cruise will start from Batumi with the possibility to buy a ticket and join the journey at any point along the route. According to the vice-president of Paradise Cruise and Ferry Igor Glukhov, the ship had a major upgrade last year, new cabins with balconies have been built, public premises have been improved. There are over 300 of different types of cabins on board that can accommodate up to 850 people. In addition, the liner provides transportation services for vehicles. Maximum capacity of the garage is 350 cars. Each port provides a stop for 8-9 hours, so that the tourists have time to see the sights and attend excursions. By now, only several voyages are scheduled for "Isabella 1” in the near future. After a short break, beginning from March 2015, it will start operating all the year round. The company plans to increase the fleet in 2-3 years and put large modern vessels on this line which greatly enliven the Black Sea tourist market.
