From 10th to 12th November 2011, "Batumi Sea Port" Ltd. for the first time took part in the international exhibition «Transit-Trans Kazakhstan 2011", which was held in Astana.
This exhibition is the leading event in the rapidly growing transport and logistics field and annually attracts a large number of exhibitors from around the world.About 65 companies and organizations have been presented at the exhibition this year. Along with the exhibition, the «Silk Road" Summit was held at the Palace of Independence, which additionally attracted a large number of visitors.
BSP stand has been noted for its high activity and interest among visitors as well as exhibitors. BSP exposition attracted particular attention of Kazakh freight forwarders who were interested in the transit of dry cargo and petroleum products in the territory of Georgia.
During the official opening the event was attended by Minister of Transport of Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Kamal, who personally visited the BSP stand and obtained information from BSP representatives on the activities and development of the company since its acquisition by JSC "KazTransOil", as well as on plans for further investments in infrastructure and technical means of the Port.Taking into account the effectiveness and high potential of this exhibition, BSP plans to make it a "must attend" event in future.
