Georgian International Maritime Forum
On September 12-14, Batumi hosts the international Maritime Forum of Georgia, one of the participants and sponsors is Batumi Sea Port. Within the framework of the forum, a meeting of working groups , as well as seminars on support of security, ecology and blue economy were held, in which the employees of the Batumi Sea Port took part.
The international Maritime Forum of Georgia has been held under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Georgia. The forum is organized by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable development of Georgia together with the Maritime Transport Agency.
The forum is attended by 400 delegates from 53 countries. The forum held every two years and its purpose is to review the current global developments in the field of shipping.
Batumi Sea Port always supports realization of such large-scale forums in the region, which contributes to the development of the transport infrastructure of the Black Sea and the maritime sphere as a whole.

|May 28, 2021||The Batumi Sea Port Ltd supported the initiative of the state authorities of Georgia and Kazakhstan to start vaccinating personnel against the Covid-19 coronavirus. The Port Administration informed that this decision allows returning quickly to normal operation.
