On April 23, 2021, the Administration of Batumi Sea Port LLC held a working meeting with Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Guram Guramishvili, First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Dmitry Abramovich, as well as with the Head of the Georgian Maritime Transport Agency Tamar Ioseliani. During the visit, the parties were informed about the current state of cargo transshipment through the port of Batumi, the specifics of work during the global Covid-19 pandemic, and the issues of improving transit across the Black Sea, particularly, an increase in the number of ferry traffic and the frequency of movement of container ships between Ukraine and Georgia were discussed.
