June 11, 2021 on the territory of the LLC "Batumi Sea Port" officially opened a multimodal terminal. Terminal specialization: transfer of mineral fertilizers. Its capacity is up to 1.5 million tons per year. At the first stage, 100 hard-working people came here. The cost of the project is $ 25 million. His partners were the British logistics company Wondernet Express and the American chemical giant Tramo. As the Minister of Economy of Georgia, Ms. Natia Turnava, said, the opening of the terminal is further underscored by the fact that Georgia - which is a "strong regional logistics center" with which the European Union is playing.
