The final games of the KazMunayGas Spartakiad were held in Pavlodar

The Spartakiad competition among the labor collectives of subsidiaries of JSC NC KazMunayGas (KMG) has come to an end. In this year it is dedicated to the 125-th anniversary of Kazakhstan's oil and the 125-th anniversary of the outstanding scientist Kanysh Satpayev. More than 600 athletes from 27 teams participated in the competitions which was held on August 10-14.

The solemn closing ceremony of the KMG Spartakiad took place at the Pavlodar Martial Arts Palace "Birlik". The athletes were welcomed by Chairman of the Board of KMG Mr.Askhat Khasenov. He congratulated the winners and thanked all the participants, noting that the coverage of the traditional Spartakiad in terms of the number of employees is getting wider from year to year, and the level of sport teams of KMG subsidiaries is getting higher.

The participants competed for the title of the best in 11 kinds of sport: arkan Tartu, arm wrestling, asyk ata, basketball, volleyball, esports, mini-football, table tennis, swimming, togyzkumalak and chess. The employee of Batumi Sea Port Ltd Mrs. Shorena Devadze took the second place in arm wrestling among girls in the weight category up to 65 kg. Congratulations to our colleague on the achieved result !

The aim of such competitions is to promote a healthy lifestyle, strengthen corporate spirit and unity among employees of the entire oil and gas industry.
