Batumi Sea Port Expands Its Ferry Network

In July 2026, the Batumi Sea Port expanded its route network by launching a new international ferry route between Constanta and Batumi and adding another ferry to the existing Varna–Batumi route.

These projects will increase the frequency and reliability of ferry services while creating additional opportunities to attract new cargo flows between Black Sea countries.

The expansion of the ferry crossing is expected to generate approximately 300,000 USD in additional revenue by the end of 2026.

The expansion of the route network further strengthens the position of the Batumi Sea Port as a key transport and logistics hub in the Black Sea basin, contributing to revenue diversification, increased business resilience, and conditions for further growth in cargo turnover.
